An independent consulting firm based in Raleigh, North Carolina, founded by Thomas Johnson after more than a decade in management consulting and corporate finance.
Many companies face operating questions that warrant serious consulting work but not the team or the fees of a large firm. Old North Analytics was founded to deliver that work to the same standard, at a scale that fits.
The firm operates with a single principal by design. The person who scopes each engagement delivers it, and the number of active clients stays small enough to keep it that way.

Thomas Johnson
Founder and Principal
Thomas spent most of his career as a management consultant, most recently as a senior director, leading operations, organization design and strategy work for large multinationals. Engagements have covered logistics, manufacturing, insurance and banking in the U.S., the U.K., continental Europe and Asia.
He holds a PMP and an MBA in Strategy and Business Analytics from NYU Stern, and a BS in Business Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill.
